No time to blog

This has been a crazy month. I am totally swamped at work and too tired to be in the land of blogs. I'll catch up when I can. Bye now.

Groundhog Day

Six more weeks of winter according to the groundhog in Pennsylvania.  Here in Texas we can’t really say we had winter this year.  I’ve worn my heavy coat less than 5 days and we’ve had plenty of days the 80s.  Then there have been a lot of grass fires because it’s been so dry.

Disorder quote

I just found this quote by A. A. Milne One of the advantages of being disorderly is that one is constantly making exciting discoveries.”   Makes sense to me.  While I’m trying to organize parts of my house I’ve come across several exciting discoveries.  I’ve put them aside, again, but in the same box to be rediscovered once I’ve gotten the trash stuff out of the way.  It’s something fun to look forward to.

Long time, No blogging

I've missed blogging. January is an extremely busy month at work so there's no time for me after everything else is done. January is also a time to think about why I am still at that job. I was told by a co-worker that I'm a lifer, I'm not leaving until I retire. I do like the convenience of working close to home and the familarity of the surroundings. I don't like the way we're treated but the winds of change are blowing.

I've gone into a few ventures during the month including one of my goals for the year of organizing the house. Now that I've discovered that I can email a post, I probably won't be "gone" that long again. Anyway, it is now February and I look forward to catching on things in more ways than one!

Happy Groundhog Day and Happy Spring!
